Normally, we are born with two hands and ten fingers. We tend to give them different purposes or meanings. The combination of the ten positions on our fingers and the variety of rings create strong statements that can change completely simply by switching the rings position.

Most of the time, we understand the meanings of rings and the way they are worn, but often we are also unable to decode the messages purveyed with them, their symbolic meaning, depending on our knowledge about history, tradition, culture and the person wearing them. But very often rings simply reflect and show the affinity towards a specific style, such as for example the reasoning: I chose this ring, it’s my very own.

My aim though is to create rings for both women and men, which communicate the aspects of the individual’s current status in life through burglar codes. These rings show whether someone has a strong or rather weak character, which mood the person is in. At the same time, it’s not always important, what you show outwardly -knowing that there is an encoded statement directly on your skin and that only you know the real signification it symbolizes, often means much more than anything else.
