Nowadays, you encounter it anytime, anywhere. Something that started off in good fun, is now ruling our lives: it finances television, controls the press, molds sexuality and dictates society - advertising. But who exactly are the people responsible for all the advertising campaigns? What do their daily work routines look like? A sparkling cocktail of creativity and overtime hours, or rather an unspectacular mix of boredom and monotony? Well, I decided to write my BA thesis around this theme. A story describing the highs and lows, stereotypes and prejudices and the working pressure in today’s advertising agencies. A story full of insights. A story packed to the brim with personal experiences from my own time in a Zurich advertising agency.
